OUR ROOTS
At Serengeti Roasters, coffee is more than a product – it’s a return to origin. A journey back to the soil, the stories and the soul of Africa. We exist to honour the land, legacy and people of this continent through every cup. Rooted in the volcanic highlands and fertile valleys of Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda and Tanzania, our coffees are not just sourced – they are deeply connected. These are the lands where Arabica was born, where coffee still grows wild in forest gardens and where generations of farmers pass their craft down by hand and heart.
We work exclusively with African coffees because we believe in the unmatched depth, complexity and vibrancy they offer. Every bean we select is a celebration of altitude, terroir and tradition – chosen not just for flavour but for the story it tells. Whether washed or naturally processed, each origin brings something unique to the table, shaped by climate, care and culture. But our mission goes beyond the bean. We roast locally, with care and clarity to bring out the best in every origin without masking its truth. Our profiles are designed to highlight character – not overpower it. You’ll find floral Ethiopian notes that dance like jasmine in spring, bold Ugandan cups that ground you in earth and spice and bright Kenyan lots that sparkle with citrus and blackcurrant.
Every bag we package, every capsule we seal and every roast we craft is done with purpose. Because to us, this is more than specialty coffee. It’s African coffee. And it deserves to be experienced with reverence. Whether you're sipping our Mbozi AA as your morning ritual, sharing Kirinyaga over conversation or discovering Sidamo for the first time – you’re not just drinking coffee. You're connecting to land. To people. To legacy.
THIS IS OUR JOURNEY. THIS IS OUR CONTINENT. THESE ARE OUR ROOTS.
