Welcome to Serengeti Roasters! The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Serengeti Roasters (Pty) Ltd. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services ("Service"). By accessing, browsing, or making a purchase from Serengeti Roasters, you agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Cookie Policy, Competition Terms & Conditions and Shipping Policy.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older or have the legal consent of a guardian to use our Service. By using our Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity conducted under your account.
Orders & Payments
All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of payment. We accept all major debit/credit cards and EFT payments through secure South African gateways like Peach Payments. Orders are only considered accepted once payment is received and confirmed.
Product Descriptions & Pricing
We strive to describe and display our products as accurately as possible, but variations in colour, roast appearance or packaging may occur. Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change product availability and pricing without notice. Additional duties or customs may apply to international shipments.
Order Confirmation, Shipping & Risk
Once an order is placed, you will receive confirmation via email. Processing can take up to 3–5 business days. Risk passes to the customer once the package is dispatched. Delivery estimates (typically 2–5 business days in South Africa) are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays beyond our control (e.g. courier issues, customs, natural disasters).
Return & Cancellation
Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), you may cancel your order within 7 days of receiving your goods. Products must be unused, in original packaging, and returned at your cost. We do not accept returns on custom-made or opened products. For faulty or damaged items, contact us within 7 days to arrange a replacement.
Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and multimedia, is the property of Serengeti Roasters (Pty) Ltd or licensed to us. No part may be reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.
Feedback & User-Generated Content
By submitting reviews or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce and publish your content. You confirm that you own or have rights to the content shared and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.
Use of Services
You agree not to misuse our Service, including but not limited to:

· Uploading harmful code or malware
· Posting misleading, unlawful or offensive content
· Violating intellectual property rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serengeti Roasters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages, including loss of revenue or data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Serengeti Roasters and its directors, staff and service providers against any claim or demand arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond our control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, labour strikes, or disruptions in internet or power supply.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page and take effect upon publication. Continued use of our Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be handled by South African courts with jurisdiction over Serengeti Roasters’ principal place of business.
