From the southern highlands of Tanzania, Mbozi AA offers a gentle, golden-hued coffee that mirrors the warmth of its terroir. This medium roast highlights the best of East African balance – sweet caramel, juicy stone fruits like apricot and nectarine and a nutty almond base that lingers smoothly.
Grown by smallholder farmers at elevations between 1,500 and 1,800 metres, cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness and washed using mountain spring water. The beans are then carefully sun-dried on raised beds to preserve their clarity and depth. Triple-screened and cupped for quality, Mbozi AA is roasted in small batches in Pretoria to accentuate its naturally sweet, round and accessible flavour.
