Tamu Tamu Reserve Blend Coffee | African Cocoa & Red Berry
100% African Arabica | Medium Roast | Milk Chocolate, Red Berry & Tropical Fruit
Tamu Tamu means “sweet sweet” in Swahili – a joyful celebration of flavour, balance and craft. This medium roast is our most playful and aromatic blend, curated to highlight the vibrant, fruit-forward flavours that East Africa is known for.
It begins with the caramel-smooth body of Tanzania’s Mbozi AA, roasted medium to preserve its soft nutty base and stone-fruit sweetness. Then we weave in natural-processed Sidamo from southern Ethiopia – lush with notes of sun-dried berries, honeyed plum, and a whisper of tangerine. Kirinyaga ABC from Kenya completes the trio, adding a juicy cranberry-red sparkle and subtle wine-like depth.
The result is a silky, medium-bodied coffee with a rich chocolate core, lifted by tropical complexity and a bright yet balanced finish. Whether brewed for a morning pour-over or shared as an afternoon pick-me-up, Tamu Tamu offers a flavour journey as joyful as its name.
THREE AFRICAN ORIGINS. ONE JOYFUL ROAST.
Songwe – Tanzania
Caramel | Roasted Almond | Stone Fruit
Sidamo – Ethiopia
Dried Berries | Plum | Orange Blossom
Kirinyaga – Kenya
Cranberry | Wine-like Acidity | Citrus Lift
Each bean is hand-harvested at elevation, either sun-dried (Sidamo Natural) or fully washed (Mbozi & Kirinyaga) to preserve origin character. After resting and screen-grading, all lots are small-batch roasted in Pretoria to a medium profile that balances sweetness, clarity and depth.
WHAT WE TASTE IN THE CUP
Espresso – Milk Chocolate | Plum Jam | Cranberry
Pour-over & Filter – Red Berry | Toffee | Soft Orange Zest
French Press – Cocoa | Stone Fruit | Honeyed Citrus Finish
WHY THIS COFFEE STANDS OUT
Bright chocolate-fruit balance – Naturally sweet, never sour
Smooth body – Mbozi's structure supports a silky mouthfeel
Clean finish – No bitterness, only origin clarity
Climate-conscious sourcing – Co-ops in Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia using regenerative techniques
Artisan-roasted – Every bean dialled in for flavour and freshness
