At Serengeti Roasters, coffee isn’t just a drink – it’s a tribute. A daily ritual rooted in the red soils, golden sun and soulful spirit of the African continent. From the highlands of Ethiopia to the volcanic valleys of Uganda and the mist-covered mountains of Rwanda and Burundi, we source our beans from the birthplace of Arabica – and honour the people who bring it to life.

Serengeti Roasters was founded with one mission: to showcase Africa’s unmatched coffee legacy while giving back to the very soil and communities that grow it. Our name pays homage to one of the continent’s most iconic landscapes, but our purpose runs deeper.

We believe in coffee that tells a story – not just of flavour, but of place, people and purpose. With every cup, we seek to connect our customers with the ground beneath the roots, the hands that harvest the cherries and the cultural richness that defines Africa’s coffee lands.

Africa isn’t just where our coffee comes from. It’s who we are. Our roastery is fuelled by a deep affection for the continent’s diversity, resilience and rhythm. We’re committed to:

• Sourcing exclusively from African origins – including Uganda’s Bugisu and Rwenzori, Tanzania’s Mbozi, Ethiopia’s Yirgacheffe and Sidamo, Kenya’s Kirinyaga, Rwanda’s Inzovu and Burundi’s Kavugangoma.

• Supporting farmer-first supply chains that value equity, transparency and community investment.

• Roasting locally and sustainably using small-batch methods to preserve the integrity of each origin.

We don’t import South American or Asian beans to dilute the story. Africa is enough – and always has been.

Our Responsibility

Every Serengeti coffee is a commitment to ethical trade and climate-smart agriculture. We partner with co-ops and washing stations that train farmers, uplift women and invest in education and reforestation. We’re not perfect, but we’re purposeful.
