Experience our limited-release blend that captures a fleeting but unforgettable flavour moment.

Across the cradle of coffee culture lies a belt of soil, elevation, and legacy unlike anywhere else on earth. This is the African Coffee Belt – a living, breathing terroir that stretches from the misty highlands of Ethiopia to the lush valleys of Uganda, across the volcanic ridges of Rwanda and Burundi, and down into the southern slopes of Tanzania. At Serengeti Roasters, we walk this belt with purpose.
Each of our seven single origin coffees is more than a profile – it is a passport. A story. A chance to sip the land and listen to the people who bring it to life. Come with us.
“No other region offers such a consistently high level of complexity and clarity in the cup as East Africa.” – inspired by The World Atlas of Coffee
The perspective of global coffee experts like James Hoffmann and Scott Rao continues to shape how we roast and understand these origins. At Serengeti Roasters, we honour their insights while crafting a uniquely African experience – rooted in tradition, guided by excellence, and built on taste.
Bugisu AA – Uganda
Grown on the fertile slopes of Mt. Elgon, Bugisu AA is a bold Ugandan coffee with a full body and deep complexity. The volcanic soils and high elevation produce a cup with notes of blackcurrant, cocoa, and spice. This is coffee with spine – rugged, dark, and undeniably African.
Mbozi AA – Tanzania
From Tanzania's Mbeya Highlands, Mbozi AA brings brightness and balance. Grown between 1,200–2,000 masl and processed using washed methods, it offers a clean, sweet cup. Expect caramelized sugar, dried apple, and sweet orange – a perfect example of East African elegance.
Burundi 15+ Specialty
This high-screen, specialty-lot coffee from Burundi is smallholder-grown and fully washed, showcasing the refinement of the Kayanza region. In the cup: a soft floral aroma with stewed stone fruit and honeyed citrus. Burundi may be small, but its coffee speaks in symphonies.
Yirgacheffe – Ethiopia
Here lies the origin of all Arabica. In Yirgacheffe, coffee is grown wild, heirloom, and unhurried. This light roast is a fragrant wonder – jasmine, bergamot, peach, and lemon tea. To drink it is to taste Ethiopia's coffee soul.
Kirinyaga – Kenya
Kenya's SL28 and SL34 varietals thrive in the rich volcanic soils of Kirinyaga. Washed, sun-dried, and sorted with meticulous care, this coffee is tart, juicy, and striking. Think blackcurrant, citrus zest, and caramel. Kirinyaga is a flavour bomb that commands your attention.
Inzovu – Rwanda
Meaning "elephant" in Kinyarwanda, Inzovu represents strength and harmony. This washed Rwandan lot offers a cup that is round, floral, and sweet – with black tea, soft berries, and a clean finish. It mirrors Rwanda itself: graceful and quietly powerful.
Sidamo – Ethiopia
While Yirgacheffe sings high notes, Sidamo brings the rhythm. Its cup profile offers jammy berry undertones, chocolate, and a touch of spice. Grown at 1,600–2,100 masl, this coffee reflects the deep flavour traditions of southern Ethiopia.
Why These Origins Matter
These seven coffees form the spine of Serengeti Roasters. Each one is roasted with intention, packaged with pride, and offered to those who seek more than caffeine. They are for the curious palate, the thoughtful drinker, and the person who knows that coffee is geography, climate, culture, and care – all in one cup.
We craft each roast to preserve the identity of its origin – embracing the brightness, structure, and clarity that experts like Rao describe, while celebrating the earth and communities that make African coffee the soul of the specialty movement.
